About Microsoft Scholarship
The Cooperation between Microsoft & the Professional Development Foundation (PDF) sets the basis for the delivery of fully funded educational scholarships for IT Professionals that will pave the way to graduating globally recognized Microsoft professionals in the IT industry. The technical tracks of the scholarships are complemented by essential Integrated Business Skills training. The recipients of the scholarships will thus acquire high technical skills and the necessary business skills allowing them to compete at the highest levels in the IT market place both globally and regionally.
Program Objectives
The main objective of this program is to create a cadre of highly specialized IT Professionals in Egypt capable to compete nationally and internationally. This is achieved by selecting a number of IT professionals who will be enrolled in an educational track that consists of several highly specialized IT courses and Integrated Business Skills Courses. These individuals will acquire the required knowledge and skills that allow them to pass Microsoft’s exam and obtain the most highly required IT industrial certificates. The tracks will include a set of IT technical courses as well as Integrated Business Skills courses (Presentation Skills, Business Correspondence and Career Development). Courses are conducted in renowned Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers in Egypt,to ensure the highest levels of quality.

Communication Skills:
The communication skills course demonstrates the importance of communication skills needed and the tools to be effectively used inside and outside the organization emphasizing the different types of communication and the proper use of each.
Negotiation Skills:
This course explores the art of negotiation; it involves negotiation tactics as well as persuasion skills catered to realize the importance of negotiation and the objectives related to the deliverables of this function taking in consideration the Win-Win situation.
Selection Criteria
- Applicants must be Egyptian nationals.

Applicants must have a working knowledge of the English language.

Applicants should be graduated at least with grade Good and preferably those with 2 years technical working experience in the IT field.

All male applicants must have an acceptable military status.

All applicants will be required to undertake and pass IT and IQ written examinations designed for these programs.

Applicants must be fully committed to a minimum of 20 hours/week of classroom/lab training (from 5-10 pm).
- Any student who misses 10% of the required number of hours per course will be disqualified for graduation.
