Value to Participating Organizations
The SEP has been designed to develop core strategic and leadership capabilities. It emphasizes a strategic and well structured problem-solving approach. The perspective of the program will enable participants to develop competencies to analyze the challenges of functional linkages both inside the business and with the external business environment. Prior to the start of the program, participants will have communicated the competitive conditions or challenges facing their operations to IIM-A for further data gathering. Once the program begins, classroom and group work is geared towards developing strategic plans for implementation. Through individual consultation sessions with IIM-A faculty, each participant will be able to understand their challenges and discuss possible solutions needed for change.
This program will be most suited for talented Senior Managers gearing up to take on senior leadership positions. These managers could be under consideration either for a move forward to their first senior management position or for increased responsibility in their existing leadership role.
